On the hunt for art lessons and classes for kids in Hassocks? Welcome to Cygnets Art School. We are a dedicated fine art school offering an array of art classes for children aged five and above, including after school art classes; weekend art lessons, and holiday art workshops.
We are dedicated to providing an inspiring and enjoyable learning environment for students, where they’re free to explore their imagination and develop their creativity. From sketching and pastels, to painting and clay, we teach an array of different art mediums; helping students learn
professional-level skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Fancy some one-to-one art tuition, or private group art classes? Our artist-teachers are also available for private art classes at home: ideal for arty birthday parties, or art scholarship application guidance.

Suzi Lowe
After more than 20 years as a textile designer, Suzi transitioned into working in costume, props and set dressing for TV, film, theater, and opera where she thrives on bringing fresh energy and a positive spirit to every project she takes on. Lately, she has gained extensive experience delivering creative workshops for all ages, particularly in after-school clubs, with home educated children, in workshops for adults and delivering classes for care home residents.
Known for her ability to connect with people and bring out the best in them, Suzi is passionate about working collaboratively and creates an environment where
everyone feels encouraged and excited to explore new ideas.Her aim is to not only foster children's artistic growth but to inspire them to express themselves, explore their creativity and feel encouraged and excited to explore new ideas.
In her spare time Suzi loves walking in nature, beachcombing, scouring charity shops for vintage finds and pottering in her garden studio.

Private one-to-one tuition, at your home, with one of our experienced artist-teachers. Ideal for scholarships/ college applications; GCSE/ A-Level preparation, or just for fun! Classes can follow our set curriculum, or explore topics and mediums of the student’s choice. Please get in touch for availability.
Private Classes & Parties
Ages 5+
Private group classes for two or more students, at your home, with our experienced artist-teachers. Perfect as a one-off birthday celebration, or weekly group class with siblings or friends. Students can choose from our enormous catalogue of projects, with everything provided by us. All you need is a table and chairs! Please get in touch for availability.
