How Our Payments Work
Cygnets term time classes are paid via monthly subscription. Instead of one large amount, the fee is split into affordable payments on the 1st of each month.
There are 3 terms and 12 months in a year, so each term is roughly covered by 4 payments.
(Sometimes this varies depending on the number of weeks in a term!)
Autumn Term
September - December
Spring Term
January - April
Summer Term
May - August
If you are joining partway through the term, your booking and subscription will start from that point, and you won't pay for any classes before you started.
Our system keeps careful track of how many classes you’ve booked and how much you’ve paid, so you will never pay for any classes outside of that.
If you make any additional payments, eg. for a trial class or signing up early for a term, any extra is rolled over onto the next term's payment, or refunded back to you if you're not returning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I join partway through the term?
Yes - As long as there's availability in the class, you can join at any point. Your first payment will come out on the 1st of the next month, and will only cover the classes from when you joined.
Do I have to sign up for the whole term?/ Do you offer drop in sessions?
Cygnets terms are only bookable for the full/ remainder of the term.
What is the cost of an individual class?
The cost of an individual class will vary from branch to branch. You can check by looking at the cost of a trial class, or contacting the Headteacher of your branch if you're unsure.
Why is the amount showing as £0 when I sign up?
Payments are always taken on the 1st of the month, so your first payment will be taken on the 1st of the next month when you sign up. Therefore there is nothing to pay until then!
When will the first payment be taken?
Payments are always taken on the 1st of the month, so your first payment will be taken on the 1st of the next month when you sign up.
Why has a payment been taken in August when there are no classes?
Payments are split equally over 12 months, so this does mean that you will still pay in August, even when there are no classes. However you will also be paying less for months where there may be four or five classes, so it evens out!
What happens when I want to cancel?
Students are automatically re-enrolled for the next term, unless we hear otherwise at least 30 days before the start of the new term, so please email your branch ASAP if you will not be coming back. If notice is given after the 30 day period, Cygnets retains a cancellation fee of one monthly payment.
