"My 9 year old daughter has absolutely loved her art classes. The teachers are really engaging and they take the children through step by step to produce a piece of work they are proud of and develops their skills. They use a variety of media and is a good sized class."

Daniel Stone

Daniel is a passionate creative with a background spanning the arts, education, and community engagement. He studied Surface Decoration at The London College of Printing, and later went on to write and illustrate several published children’s books — combining his love of storytelling and visual art to spark imagination in young minds.

His inspiration to open Cygnets Rickmansworth came in part from homeschooling his daughter during lockdown, where he discovered a real joy in getting involved with her arts and crafts projects. That experience reinforced his belief in the power of art to educate, entertain, and connect.

Daniel is committed to providing high-quality, engaging art classes that help children grow in confidence while developing real artistic skills. With a background also in personal training and business development, he brings both energy and structure to every session. He’s excited to welcome the next generation of young artists to Cygnets Rickmansworth.
